Idun Blue for yoga teachers
Stream classes live, sell programmes and courses, let students book private classes and keep in touch by email, all from one workspace.
This work usually takes longer than it should.
- Online classes depend on a Zoom link in an email that students lose
- Recordings sit in a folder instead of with the students who want to practise at home
- Workshop and retreat sign-ups come through a form, and payments are reconciled by hand
- Schedule, private classes, payment and newsletter live in four different apps
- Students ask whether they can use their wellness allowance, and receipts are written by hand

Classes online
An event in Idun can be a one-off workshop or a recurring room that opens at the same time every week. You stream from the Idun room in the browser, where you can choose that only you are seen and heard while students follow along, or add the link to a meeting tool you already use. Students get a reminder the day before, an hour before and when you go live.
Switch on recording and the class is saved with subtitles. You choose whether the replay shows on the event page or becomes a lesson in a course.
One thing to know: signing up for an event is free today, and you cannot sell tickets to a single event. To charge for live classes, sell them as part of a programme or membership.
Programmes students can practise with
A programme is a course: modules and lessons with video, audio and text. A 30-day programme can release a new class each day from the day a student starts, and a yoga nidra or relaxation works just as well as an audio lesson. Video adapts to the connection, so the class plays on a phone on the mat.
Students log in to the member app on your own domain, or the Idun Blue app for iPhone and iPad, and continue where they left off.
Workshops and retreats
Sell a workshop or retreat as an offer, with a payment plan if you like. The offer can have a closing date or a limited number of places, and the purchase can give access to a course with the schedule, packing list and preparation practices. Afterwards an automation can send a thank-you and an invitation to the next step.
The student group
If you want students to talk to each other between classes, community lives in the same workspace, with rooms you can tie to a programme. Buyers are added to the right room automatically.
The Swedish wellness allowance
Yoga is one of the activities the Swedish Tax Agency names as friskvård, and online training can count. Switch on the wellness allowance receipt for your programme or membership and describe it, for example “Hatha yoga, 8 live classes online”. Checkout tells the student she gets a receipt to hand to her employer, and after the purchase the receipt arrives by email with your organisation number, her name, the activity and the VAT. It can also be downloaded as a PDF.
The employer decides what is reimbursed, and you set the VAT on the offer: live classes carry 6% Swedish VAT, recorded classes and yoga focused on relaxation and meditation 25%. Read more about the wellness allowance receipt.
Price
Idun Blue is in private beta and free for the yoga teachers and creators we invite. After that the whole platform costs SEK 1,000/month excl. VAT, and Idun takes no percentage of your sales. See pricing details.
