The Verdict

Simplero and Idun Blue do the same kind of job: courses, website, email, bookings and community in one tool, with no transaction fee. The difference is how the price grows. Simplero's Starter is $59/mo on annual billing and holds 500 contacts, 10 products and one site; Scale at $149/mo raises that to 1,000 contacts and adds certificates, upsells, affiliates and the API. Idun Blue has one price for the whole platform with no tiers, a Swedish and English interface and VAT worked out at checkout. Simplero has features Idun lacks, including an affiliate programme, text messages and a sales pipeline, and takes new customers today with a 14-day trial. Simplero's figures come from its pricing page on 2 October 2026.

The short version

Simplero is one of few platforms trying to do what Idun Blue does: the whole business in one tool, for coaches and course creators. Both have courses, website, email, bookings and community, and neither takes a share of sales. The difference is what the lowest tier includes, how the price grows with your list, and the language you work in.

Where Simplero does more

Simplero has features Idun Blue does not. If you need an affiliate programme, text messages, a help desk or a sales pipeline with tasks, they are in Simplero and not in Idun. Simplero also takes new customers today, with a trial, while Idun Blue is in private beta and invites creators from the waitlist.

Where Idun Blue does more

One price, no tiers. Idun Blue costs SEK 1,000 a month excluding VAT for the whole platform. There is no 10-product or 500-contact ceiling that makes the price jump as the business grows. Fair use applies, and new workspaces start with a cautious daily email sending limit that is raised once sending has been clean for a while.

Swedish and European by default. Studio, the member app and the emails to your students work in Swedish and English. Checkout works out Swedish VAT, EU reverse charge and OSS. The platform and database run in the EU.

A member app on the phone. Students reach courses, community and bookings in a web app on your domain, or in the Idun Blue app for iPhone and iPad.

AI that works inside the tool. Idun AI drafts sales pages, course outlines and email sequences from what is already in your workspace, and you approve before anything goes out. You can also connect your own ChatGPT or Claude.

Live events, podcast and invoices included. A live room in the browser with recording and subtitles, podcast hosting with RSS and invoicing are switched on when you need them, at no extra charge.

Choose Simplero if

  • you need an affiliate programme, text messages or a sales pipeline,
  • you want to start today with a trial,
  • you mainly sell in USD to an English-speaking audience.

Choose Idun Blue if

  • you want a fixed price that does not change as your list grows,
  • you sell in Sweden or the EU and want VAT and invoices right without extra tools,
  • you sell wellness activities such as yoga or stress management and want Swedish buyers to get a friskvårdsbidrag receipt after purchase,
  • you want students to have an app on their phone,
  • you want an AI that can build and update inside the tool for you.
