The Verdict
Kajabi's Basic plan costs $179/mo and holds 5 products, 2,500 contacts and 0 AI credits. The public API and an app under your own brand need Pro at $499/mo. Idun Blue has one price for the whole platform: courses, community, website, email, bookings, automations and Instagram planning are included, and you switch on podcast, events and invoices when you need them. Idun AI works directly in your workspace, and you can connect your own ChatGPT or Claude. Payments go to your own Stripe account with no platform fee. Kajabi's figures come from its pricing page on 20 August 2026.
Kajabi pricing and plans last checked Aug 20, 2026 against Kajabi's own pages. Kajabi's pricing page shows three plans: Basic, Growth and Pro. A Starter plan at $89/mo exists inside the plan finder on the page but is not shown in the pricing comparison, so the entry price a visitor actually meets is $179/mo. Card processing fees are shown for US entities only, per Kajabi's own footnote. Coaching and scheduling, podcast hosting and social publishing are not stated on Kajabi's pricing page. They exist in their product, but we cannot say which plans include them, so we make no claim either way. Kajabi's pricing page shows both a 14-day and a 30-day free trial. Idun Blue features marked partial are off by default and are switched on in Settings → Features.

The short version
Kajabi is sold in three plans, and every step up raises both the price and the caps. Basic at $179/mo holds 5 products, 2,500 contacts and 2 admin users. Webhooks, advanced automations, Universal Inbox, Comment-to-DM and cohort courses start on Growth at $249/mo. The public API and an app under your own brand sit on Pro at $499/mo.
Idun Blue has one price for the whole platform. Courses, community, website and pages, email and automations, bookings, Instagram planning and link in bio are included from the start. Podcast, events and webinars, coaching, invoices, physical products and course certificates are switched on under Settings → Features. Idun AI works in what you already have: your lessons, offers, pages and emails. Studio is available in Swedish and English, and the platform runs on servers in the EU.
Pricing
The figures below come from Kajabi’s own pricing page and were checked on 20 August 2026. Prices change, so always check kajabi.com/pricing.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual (per month) | Products | Contacts | Card fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $179 | $143 | 5 | 2,500 | 2.9% + $0.30 |
| Growth | $249 | $199 | 50 | 25,000 | 2.8% + $0.30 |
| Pro | $499 | $399 | Unlimited | 100,000 | 2.7% + $0.30 |
Kajabi’s footnote states that the card processing fees shown are for US entities only.
Other caps: communities 1 / 1 / 3, websites 1 / 1 / 3, admin users 2 / 11 / 26. AI features are included on every plan, but AI credits are 0 on Basic, 500 on Growth and 1,000 on Pro. More credits cost $15/mo per 500. There is no free plan, and the pricing page shows both a 14-day and a 30-day free trial.
If you take payments through your own payment provider, for example your own Stripe account, Kajabi adds 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro. The surcharge sits on top of the provider’s own fees and does not apply to PayPal or Kajabi Payments.
The plan finder on the pricing page also has a Starter plan at $89/mo ($71 annually). It is not shown in the pricing comparison on that same page, so treat $179/mo as the price you will meet.
Idun Blue is free during the beta and then costs SEK 1,000 a month excl. VAT, for the whole platform. No plan unlocks features, and we take a 0% platform fee: payments go to your own Stripe account and you pay only Stripe’s fees. Kajabi bills in dollars and Idun Blue in kronor, so compare the converted price on the day you choose. Both quote prices before tax.
Where the platforms differ
What drives the price
With Kajabi, the caps and the plan decide. Pass 5 products or 2,500 contacts and the next step is Growth at $249/mo, and AI credits need Growth or a top-up. With Idun Blue you pay one price and switch on what you need per workspace in Settings → Features.
Your own payment provider
Kajabi adds 2%, 1% or 0.5% when you use a payment provider other than its own. Idun Blue runs straight against your own Stripe account with no surcharge, and we connect Stripe together with you during onboarding. Before the connection is done you can publish free offers. With invoicing switched on, an offer can also be bought on invoice: the buyer sends a request, you approve it, Idun sends the invoice and access opens when you mark the order as paid.
More than a course platform
In Idun Blue your podcast, website, Instagram and mailing list sit in the same workspace as your courses. The podcast gets a real RSS feed, and premium episodes can be locked to a product. You build the website from a complete design family where menu, type and colours hold together on every page. Instagram posts are planned and scheduled from Studio through a connected professional account. A purchase, a sign-up or a finished module shows up in the mailing list straight away, because everything lives in the same system.
AI that does the work
Kajabi’s AI features are included on every plan, but Basic has 0 AI credits. Idun AI is included and works with what is in your workspace. Ask it to turn your notes into a course outline, shorten a sales page or write a welcome sequence. The result is saved as a draft in Studio, and you decide what gets published or sent. If you would rather use your own ChatGPT or Claude, connect it through Studio for Mac or as an MCP client.
Mobile app
Kajabi’s app under your own brand is included on Pro and listed on the pricing page as a $199/mo value. With Idun Blue, members use the Idun Blue app for iPhone and iPad, or the web app in the browser on your own domain. An app under your own brand is not included.
API and automations
Kajabi’s public API sits on Pro, listed as a $25/mo value. Advanced automations, webhooks and Universal Inbox start on Growth. Idun Blue has a public HTTP API, and automations are on from the start in every workspace.
Swedish and the EU
Studio is available in Swedish and English, and Idun Blue runs on servers in the EU. Kajabi’s server location and interface languages are not stated on its pricing page, so we say nothing about them.
What is included in Idun Blue
- Courses, offers, email and people are always on. Pages, blog, community, automations, coupons, bookings, social media and link in bio are on from the start.
- Live events and webinars, podcast, coaching, invoices, physical products and course certificates are switched on under Settings → Features. Lesson quizzes and attachments are part of the course tools.
- Members use the Idun Blue app for iPhone and iPad, or the web app on your own domain.

- Servers in the EU and Studio in Swedish and English. AI and email delivery use external providers, and your provider choices affect where data is processed.

- you pay for Growth or Pro to get webhooks, advanced automations or the API. With Idun Blue, automations and the API are part of the base price.
