Transcription uses a Whisper model trained on Swedish, which we run ourselves.
Recorded events and podcast episodes are transcribed in the workspace's language, Swedish or English.

When you upload a video to a lesson, it is transcribed in the background. You can also start the transcription yourself from the lesson in Studio. When it is done, the video has subtitles and the lesson has a transcript you can read.
Transcription of course videos is built for Swedish speech. Recordings from Events & webinars and podcast episodes are transcribed in the language of the workspace or the podcast, Swedish or English.
Dubbing, a synthetic voice reading out a translation, has been removed. The voice was not good enough for paying members. Subtitles and transcripts remain.
