The Verdict
Buzzsprout is a podcast host: Audio costs $15/mo on annual billing for one podcast and 72 upload hours a year, and the free tier hosts episodes for 90 days. Idun Blue hosts the podcast with a real RSS feed, import that keeps episode GUIDs, statistics and automatic transcripts, and locks premium episodes to a product. The same price includes courses, website, mailing list, community, bookings and Instagram planning, and Idun AI works directly in the workspace. A listener can become a contact, buy access and receive email without you syncing two systems.
Buzzsprout pricing and plans last checked Aug 21, 2026 against Buzzsprout's own pages. Buzzsprout prices below use annual billing. Upload allowances are annual totals on those plans. The free plan hosts uploaded episodes for 90 days and is not permanent free hosting.

The short version
Buzzsprout hosts podcasts. Idun Blue hosts the podcast and runs the business around it: the courses, the website, the mailing list, the community and the checkout. Audio hosting, RSS, migration, statistics, transcripts and premium access exist in both. The difference is that a premium episode in Idun Blue is sold and unlocked with the same product, the same checkout and the same member sign-in as a course.
Current Buzzsprout pricing
Buzzsprout’s official pricing page was checked on 21 August 2026. With annual billing it shows:
- Free: two upload hours per month, but uploaded episodes are hosted for 90 days.
- Audio: $15 per month, 72 upload hours per year and one podcast.
- Audio + Video: $25 per month, adding 1080p video distribution to Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube.
- Multi-Podcast: from $30 per month for up to five audio podcasts and 180 shared upload hours per year.
- Archive: $5 per month to keep a show live without publishing new episodes.
Paid plans include automatic transcripts for new episodes. Add-ons such as Cohost AI and Magic Mastering cost extra depending on plan. Buzzsprout also has visual soundbites, dynamic content, video distribution, directory guidance and native mobile apps. Check Buzzsprout’s current pricing before deciding.
Idun Blue is free during the beta and then costs SEK 1,000 a month excl. VAT, for the whole platform. The podcast is part of that price, not a plan of its own.
What your podcast gets in Idun Blue
Paste the address of your current RSS feed. Idun previews what it found and then brings over the show, the episodes and the audio. Episode GUIDs are kept, so podcast apps do not read the whole archive as newly published.
Public episodes go into a standard RSS feed with cover art, seasons, episode numbers and show notes. Premium episodes link to a product or course and stay out of the public feed. Uploaded episodes are transcribed automatically. Statistics show downloads by episode, day, app and country, with directory check requests filtered out.
The feed follows the workspace’s language, so a Swedish and an English show live in two workspaces. Podcast is off by default and is switched on under Settings → Features.
The rest of the business is included
A listener who signs up to your list becomes a contact in the same register as your customers. She can buy access, receive your welcome sequence and find paid audio in the member app next to the courses, without a second subscription database.
The same price includes courses, community, website and pages, email and automations, bookings, Instagram planning and link in bio. You switch on events, coaching and invoices when you need them. Idun AI works with what is in the workspace and can write an email or a sales page that you review before anything is published or sent. You can also connect your own ChatGPT or Claude.
Switch to Idun Blue if
- your podcast should sell something, and premium episodes should unlock with the same purchase as a course or membership.
- you pay for a podcast host, an email tool and a course platform and want it all in one price.
- you want the people who buy your premium episodes to land in your own mailing list, with one contact for podcast, purchases and courses.
- you want to move without losing the archive: the import keeps episode GUIDs.
- you want AI to do the work with what is already in your workspace, with Idun AI or your own ChatGPT or Claude.
