Apple Podcasts currently specifies 3000 × 3000 pixels for Show Cover artwork and accepts 1400 × 1400 through 3000 × 3000 when art is submitted through RSS. It accepts JPG or PNG and requires a solid background without transparency. The largest size is preferred. Check the title at a very small preview too; a technically valid image can still be unreadable in a crowded podcast grid.
