Questions that belong to the teaching — not a separate form

Build the knowledge check where the course lives. Members complete it in context and the result stays with their course progress.

Quizzes and knowledge checks

Two question types
Passing score
Attempts and feedback

Illustrative workflow. No real customer data.

Here is what you can do.

Put quizzes in your course lessons, grade the answers automatically and let the result count towards the course certificate.

Two question types

Multiple-choice questions with one correct answer, and statements that are true or false.

Passing score

Set points per question and the share needed to pass.

Attempts and feedback

Decide how many attempts are allowed and write an explanation shown once the quiz is submitted.

Connected to the course

When certificates are on, every quiz in the course must be passed before the certificate is issued.

Inside the course

The quiz sits in a lesson and is taken in the member app. Answers are graded as soon as the member submits. Free-text questions are not available today: an open reflection has no single correct answer that can be graded automatically, and we would rather not pretend otherwise.

Points, passing and retries

Set points per question, a pass mark as a percentage (70% unless you choose otherwise) and the number of attempts a member receives. The explanation for each question appears only after the quiz has been submitted.

Results and certificates

Every attempt is stored with the member and the lesson. In Studio you see who has taken the quiz, the score and whether the attempt passed. If certificates are on for the course, the certificate is issued only when every lesson is complete and every quiz is passed.

Quizzes are part of the course tools and can be added as lessons.
